Pyrite Beads

Known as Fool's Gold, for it's similarity of colour. Pyrite is a metallic mineral composed of iron and sulphur, found in limestone and shale. It's name comes from a Greek work meaning 'stone to strike fire', referring to pyrite's ability to spark. A masculine stone of action that stimulates ideas, bringing confidence and persistence. Metaphysically, pyrite is said to protect from negative forces, and bring Earth energy like warmth and wealth. It's even thought to shield the body from pollution!
