At Ancroft Village Hall, Ancroft TD15 2TL - Just off the A1 along the B6524 Berwick to Wooler road, 5-miles from Berwick-Upon-Tweed. The hall is on the right (from Berwick) just before & opposite the church.

A few miles south of the Scottish border. Just over an hour's drive from Edinburgh or Newcastle. Combine with a visit to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne - 18-minutes away.

Penrith Bead Fair

At Stainton Village Hall, Kings Arms, Penrith CA11 0EP - Just off M6 J40. 

The latest semi precious beads by MrBead, seed beads & findings by Southampton Bead Shop, and more to make great jewellery. North Cumbria Beadworkers will also be there with an exhibition and advise on beadwork and making beaded jewellery.

Stay the weekend and combine with a lake cruise on an Ullswater steamer, which is just 7-miles south. For details & timetable click here. It's great around the Lake District in August!

The new-built venue has air-con & wifi, but limited free parking. However, not a problem on a Sunday.  For locals, bus X5 runs every hour on Sunday from Penrith to Workington - get off at the Methodist Church in Stainton, then just 1-minute walk to the hall. Under 5-minutes drive from M6 Junction 40, or 9-minutes from the centre of Penrith - and 10-minutes from Ullswater.
