Price is per 16-inch string of about 10 to 12 (depending on size) mixed-size slabs. Each drilled ready to thread. As these are natural, each slab is a different size - but they range from about 30mm x 24mm x 5mm to 42mm x 32mm x 5mm. Heavy!
Gaspeite is light green to apple green and is relatively rare. The colour comes from the fact that it is found around nickel sulfides. Named after the Gaspe' Peninsula in Quebec where it was originally found, although today, most is mined in Australia. Although a similar colour to turquoise, gaspeite is a nickel carbonate.
Gaspeite is a little softer than turquoise, and should be treated with at least as much care.
